Snackbane is built by an independent developer. This policy explains exactly what the app stores and why. The short version: there is no sign-up, we never ask for your name or email, and you can erase everything from inside the app.
Snackbane signs you in anonymously through Firebase Authentication. This creates a random identifier so your progress can sync to your device. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location. We never ask you to create an account.
This information is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) on servers in the United States. It is tied to your anonymous identifier only.
Snackbane is a game about resisting food cravings. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a treatment for any condition. Nothing in the app is medical advice. The craving reasons you record are stored as gameplay data, not as health records, and are never shared with anyone.
Open Settings → Delete my data inside the app. This permanently erases your anonymous account, battle history, and earned items from our servers. It cannot be undone. Deleting the app alone does not erase server data, so use the in-app option if you want everything gone.
Snackbane is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
